'Happy to be back on court'

Thiemo took the positive out of his defeat against Kevin Anderson at the Estoril Open on Monday. “I am just happy to be on court again and to play matches. I played a very good first set and I am very satisfied with that. But I felt a stiff groin coming from the second set because of the sliding, we had very long rallies. And don't forget, Anderson is just a good player.”

No concern of an injury said the current world number 81. “I am physical ok. I didn’t feel my legs or anything else. I had a good period of training the past weeks. I just have to play more matches so my body can get used to that as well. That is the best to avoid these kind of problems in the future. Probably, I will be practicing again on Tuesday.”
