Aus Open main draw in sight after win

Thiemo has reached the final qualifying round of the Australian Open on Thursday. He defeated Javier Marti from Spain after three tough sets: 4-6, 7-5, 6-4. Peter Gojowzcyk (ATP-248) from Germany will be his next opponent.

“My level went up as soon I had to come back from behind. That has to be better the next match”, told Thiemo after his second victory in the qualifiers. “But I am happy about the way I fought to win this match.”
