Serve helps Thiemo in warm India

Thiemo has reached the second round of the Chennai qualifiers on Saturday. The 23-year old defeated Spaniard Arnau Brugues-Davi 7-5, 7-6(5) at the Indian hard court event. The heat (30 degrees Celsius) became a struggle for Thiemo during his match. “I am trough to the next round, that is the most important for now”, told Thiemo, who hit a pretty good total of 17 aces during his match.

Juan Sebastian Cabal will be his next opponent. The Columbian trashed local hero Neeraj Elangovan with a double bagel. Cabal currently holds the number 248 position on the ATP rank. He won the Mexican challenger tourney of Aguascalientes in 2011.
