Bath: Thiemo meets Mertl in first round
Thiemo will feature at the Bath challenger (€42,500) event next week. The 23-year old will meet Jan Mertl (ATP-249) in the opening round. The winner meets Kamil Capkovic from Slovakia or Frenchman Kenny de Schepper.

Thiemo has recovered from his ankle injury, which kept him off court since end January. This means good news for Davis Cup captain Jan Siemerink. Netherlands and Finland play each other next week in Den Bosch for the tie in Group 1 of the European/African zone.
Injury keeps Thiemo out of Zagreb
Thiemo will not play next week’s ATP tournament in Zagreb. The 22-year old Dutchman has to deal with an ankle injury, which keeps of court since last week.
Siemerink chooses Thiemo for DC squad
Team captain Jan Siemerink has given Thiemo an invitation for the Davis Cup tie between Netherlands and Finland from 10 until 12 February. Robin Haase, Jesse Huta Galung and Jean-Julien Rojer complete the Dutch squad.
