Thiemo records win in Getxo
Thiemo has found the taste of victory again. He defeated Roberto Ortega-Olmedo 7-6(1), 6-3 in the first round of the Getxo Future tournament. He'll meet Morgan Phillips from Great-Britain in the second round. Thiemo's previous singles win in an official match was during the Davis Cup in February.

Thiemo did not reach the second round of the Spanish Future tournament in Valldoreix. David Perez Sanz from Spain defeated the Dutchman 7-6(5), 6-4 on Wednesday.

Thiemo will undergo a final test at the end of this week before making the decision to return. The Dutchman has struggled with an ankle injury and worked on his recovery the past weeks.
30-04-2012Thiemo receives no Davis Cup call-up
Thiemo has not received a call-up for the Dutch Davis Cup squad, when the Netherlands meets Romania in Amsterdam on 6, 7 and 8 April. Captain Jan Siemerink has sent an invitation to Robin Haase, Jean-Julien Rojer, Igor Sijsling and Thomas Schoorel.
